How It All Started
A year ago, I developed a love of mermaids and so did my best friend (Claire aka Brenna). We decided to do a little home movie about how we magically turned into to mermaids when we touched water because of a star(we used one of those video camera's where you can't delete or edit scenes). When we made this film, we didn't have real tails or anything, just a sheet of green fabric. A while later, my sister (you may know her as Tess) got bored so she decided to see if she could find a mermaid tail for sale. She couldn't find a cheap one though, so we decided to make our own. After we made the tail (which took a couple of tries until we finally got it right) my sister wanted to find an underwater camera so we could film it. After she purchased one, we filmed the tail and put it up on youtube. I then got a comment from someone saying that I should make a series. So I filmed a short, badly produced episode calling the series "Secret Life of a Mermaid". I didn't think much would come of this show, but I kept getting comments asking if there was going to be more episodes. So, I produced more and then I decided to get my friend from the original movie to co-star in my series. We worked well together and pretty soon, the once small unknown "Secret Life of a Mermaid" series turned into to something bigger.
Characters
Amy Samuels
Since she was the first one to be a mermaid, Amy acts as the leader of the group. Not only does Amy have to deal with being a mermaid but also with her older sister who is always riding on her. Amy's parents also never really care about her whereabouts, which means Amy's normally taking care of herself.
Brenna Edwards
When she first moved into town, Brenna met Amy. Over the course of time, they became friends. This led to Brenna's metamorphosis into a mermaid. Brenna appears to be smart and funny. She has two younger sisters which she manages.
Kelsey Cork
Originally Amy's best friend, Kelsey was pushed out from her friendship when Brenna moved in and took her place. Now knowing their secert though, Kelsey's been reunited with them. She's a newbee mermaid. Kelsey also has an older sister too (soon to come).
Tess Samuels
Amy's older sister. Tess uses any advantage to annoy or be mean to Amy. She does have her moments of kindness though (barely) Since Tess and Amy's parents are gone almost always, Tess is in charge.
